AI is fundamentally changing how enterprises operate.
For decades, procurement teams have relied on spreadsheets, emails, and fragmented processes to manage billions of dollars in spend. As AI agents become capable of taking over increasingly complex workflows, the way companies run procurement is about to change.
At Lio, we're building THE AI workforce for procurement.
As a Sales Development Representative, you're not just booking meetings.
You're creating the first impression of Lio. You're opening conversations with the world's largest enterprises and helping procurement leaders understand how AI can transform the way they operate.
You'll work closely with founders, Account Executives, Marketing, and Product, and directly influence how we scale our go-to-market motion.
What You'll Do
Generate and qualify pipeline through creative outbound and inbound strategies
Engage early-stage prospects and educate them on how AI agents can transform procurement operations
Run outreach across multiple channels including email, LinkedIn, and phone
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Account Executives to refine messaging, qualification, and handoff processes
Capture customer feedback and share insights with Product to help shape future features and improvements
Own your pipeline from first touch to handoff and ensure a seamless customer experience
Help build and continuously improve Lio's go-to-market playbook
Your Profile
You'll thrive in this role if you:
Take ownership by default. You don't wait for instructions or permission. You make things happen, care about outcomes, and see challenges as problems to solve rather than obstacles to accept.
Know how to communicate and excite. Whether you're speaking to a Fortune 500 executive, a procurement leader, or an operational buyer on the factory floor, you know how to build trust, create excitement, and adapt your message to the person in front of you.
Enjoy high-growth environments. Things move quickly, priorities change, and ambiguity doesn't scare you. You learn fast, adapt quickly, and thrive when there's a lot to build.
Are curious about AI and excited about the opportunities this technology creates for enterprises. You don't need to be an expert, but you believe AI will fundamentally reshape how businesses operate.
What's not required
Previous experience in enterprise sales, business development, or SDR roles is not required.
We're much more interested in ambition, curiosity, communication skills, and execution than in having the perfect CV.
