Odoo ERP & Business Process Consultant (Freelance / Part-Time)

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Odoo ERP & Business Process Consultant to help us optimize and further develop our existing Odoo environment.
You will work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and other teams to understand business needs, improve processes and translate requirements into practical ERP solutions.
We're looking for someone who combines strong Odoo expertise with a good understanding of business processes, challenges existing ways of working and can independently drive improvements from concept to implementation.

Your mission

• Optimize and further develop our Odoo environment, including configurations, workflows, user roles and access rights.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization and automation.
• Improve ERP processes across Purchasing/P2P, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing/MRP and Supply Chain, including interfaces with Finance.
• Translate business requirements into practical and scalable Odoo solutions, prioritizing standard functionality whenever possible.
• Coordinate with external Odoo partners and developers when additional technical developments are required.
• Drive ERP improvement initiatives from requirements gathering and configuration through testing and implementation.
• Ensure master-data quality, system consistency and reliable ERP reporting.
• Support users with ERP-related issues, training and documentation when needed.

Your profile

• Relevant experience with ERP consulting, implementation or business process optimization.
• Strong hands-on Odoo experience, including configuration, workflows and implementation of system improvements. Experience with Odoo Studio is a plus.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes, particularly Purchasing/P2P, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing/MRP and Supply Chain.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial or operations-driven environments is a plus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical ERP solutions and independently manage improvement initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with external ERP implementation partners or developers.
• Good understanding of ERP master data, reporting and process optimization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, combined with a structured, pragmatic and hands-on approach.

Consulting Setup
This is a part-time freelance consulting opportunity , with an expected workload of approximately 60–90 hours per month , depending on project priorities.
You'll have flexibility in organizing your working hours while collaborating with our teams on agreed deliverables and milestones.
The role follows a hybrid setup, with occasional on-site presence in Munich for workshops, process reviews and key implementation activities.
The final commercial and contractual terms will be agreed upon with the selected consultant.
