This position will be hired under HD PLUS GmbH, a fully owned subsidiary of satellite operator SES.

HD+ is the TV platform with the largest technical reach in Germany. With HD+ TV users in Germany are able to enjoy high-definition television from private broadcasters since 2009. The focus is on TV reception via satellite. Since 2021, the service can also be received on mobile devices and selected TVs via IP without a conventional TV connection, making HD+ technically available for all TV households in Germany. In addition, the HD+ Komfort-Funktion (comfort function) enables users to restart current programs and offers access to catch-up services. Currently, more than 80 channels can be viewed in brilliant HD quality with the HD+ channel package: 26 of the largest private channels, three UHD channels (via satellite) including RTL UHD and ProSiebenSat.1 UHD, plus over 50 free-to-air channels. Thanks to the direct integration of HD+ in new TV sets from Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, Philips, and Vestel, HD+ is easy to use.

The Working Student in CRM Marketing (Focus: Email Marketing) supports the Customer Management team in planning, executing, and optimizing email campaigns. They contribute to customer engagement by assisting with campaign setup, audience segmentation, and performance analysis. This role offers hands-on experience in CRM systems and digital marketing, making it ideal for students eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Due to the nature of the HD+ business, we do require someone who is bilignual in German and English for this role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the planning, creation, and execution of email marketing campaigns
• Support the segmentation and targeting of customer groups for personalized communication
• Collaborate with content, design, and product teams to coordinate campaign assets
• Conduct A/B testing and optimize email performance (e.g., open rates, click-through rates)
• Monitor campaign results and compile performance reports using analytics tools
• Maintain and update CRM data to ensure high data quality and compliance with GDPR
• Stay up to date with best practices in email marketing and CRM trends

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing , Business , Communications, or a related field
• Previous internship or working student experience in digital marketing, CRM, or related areas is a plus
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Maileon, HubSpot) is an advantage
• Experience with Excel and basic data analysis tools is beneficial
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates is a plus but not required
• Fluency in German and English

OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Basic knowledge of Adobe Design Software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator und Adobe Photoshop)
