Tasks

Your Mission

Our AI and data foundation is already strong — now we need to build great product experiences on top of it. Working closely with Jonas (CTO) and the whole team, you'll turn our AI capabilities into features that clients actually love using. You'll be the bridge between powerful AI and great user experience.

Frontend & Product Experience

You'll shape how clients experience Akdo day to day.

• Build features: Develop new frontend features that bring our AI capabilities to life for users
• Integrate AI agents: Turn backend AI functionality into smooth, intuitive experiences in the client
• Polish the details: Make sure the product feels fast, clear, and enjoyable to use

️ Backend & Integrations

You'll build the backend systems that make the product scale.

• APIs and logic: Design and build backend structures that support multiple enterprise customers
• AI integration: Connect our AI workflows into the product so features work reliably end-to-end
• Performance: Write clean, maintainable code that keeps things fast as we grow

AI Features

You don't need to be an AI researcher, but you should be excited to build with AI.

• Ship AI features: Use our existing AI infrastructure to build new agentic features for customers
• Quality in practice: Help make sure AI outputs hold up in real use — spotting issues and working with the team to fix them
• Stay current: Bring ideas from the latest developments in AI into our product

Have a better way to build something, or a feature idea we haven't thought of? We want to hear it. Proactivity is how we move fast.

Our Tech Stack

We love our tools, and we're open to evolving them:

• Frontend: Tailwind, React, Next.js, ShadCN
• Type Safety: Prisma ORM and Next.js server functions end-to-end
• Backend: PostgreSQL, GitHub, Vercel
• LLMs: Azure AI Suite, AWS Bedrock & Google Vertex, tracked in Langfuse, hot-swapped via ai-sdk

Flexibility matters — we welcome input from new hires on tools they're passionate about.

Requirements

• Solid experience building fullstack web apps, ideally with React/Next.js/TypeScript & PostgreSQL (deep experience with another modern stack also works)
• Comfortable working with AI APIs and LLMs — you've built things with them, not just chatted
• Excellent prompting skills and curiosity about where AI is heading
• Clean, maintainable code with proper testing
• Fluent English
• Full-time availability

2. We'll do a (remote) live coding session to check for a technical fit (a practical challenge and you can use all your favourite AI coding tools)
3. Deep Dive with our founders Jonas and Max to get a feeling for the team and the tasks ahead of you
