Revenue Operations Manager

About the Role

This is the first dedicated Revenue Operations hire at a fast-growing, Series A-backed AI SaaS company in the industrial procurement intelligence space. You'll partner directly with senior revenue leadership — including the Revenue Operations Lead and Managing Director of Revenue — to design, build, and scale the operational backbone that powers the entire revenue organisation. This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to shape a revenue function from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Partner with revenue leadership to build and scale revenue systems across the full go-to-market motion.

• Lead strategic projects that reshape the sales motion and support enterprise and international expansion.

• Own and maintain end-to-end operational infrastructure spanning business development, AE pipeline management, customer onboarding, and expansion.

• Build reporting and analytics frameworks that surface actionable patterns and inform strategic decisions.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, business development, account executives, customer experience, and expansion teams to identify and remove friction.

• Design and implement enablement programmes, AI tooling, and onboarding solutions that multiply team output.

• Contribute to the design of compensation and equity structures in support of revenue leadership.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves (dealbreakers):

• 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations or an equivalent role building and delivering revenue processes and systems end-to-end.

• Proven track record operationalising revenue processes across the full cycle: outbound/business development, AE pipeline, customer onboarding, and expansion.

• Full fluency in both German and English (written and spoken).

• Willingness and ability to work from the Munich office 4+ days per week .

Required skills & experience:

• Strong systems thinker: you design structures and operationalise them yourself, end-to-end.

• Demonstrable experience delivering measurable revenue improvements in a high-growth, VC-backed startup environment — including building from zero and supporting rapid scaling.

• Comfortable working closely with founders, managing directors, and revenue leadership to define and execute strategy.

• Hands-on experience enabling or implementing AI tooling and automation within revenue operations (onboarding, enablement, tooling).

• Track record of extreme ownership : you identify problems, build solutions, and ship them without waiting for permission.

Nice to have:

• Prior founder experience or a demonstrated entrepreneurial orientation and ambition to start or back a company in the future.

Location & Work Arrangement

This role is based on-site in Munich, Germany (4+ days per week in office). Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
