About the position

As an intern/flexible in Presales & Business Development (m/f/d), you will actively support our team in identifying new business potential and supervising tendering processes. You will gain deep insights into strategic sales activities and play a decisive role in shaping the initial phases of our customer contact.

Your tasks:

Whether it's a compulsory or voluntary internship — As an intern/flexicant (m/f/d), you will definitely benefit from attractive remuneration and will support the team with the following responsible tasks from 01.01.2027:

• You support management and sales team with ongoing customer and funding projects, such as designing digital business approaches, developing solution strategies and preparing customer offers
• You will take on individual project components in our funding projects on your own responsibility, for example when setting up business models in the area of data rooms based on Gaia X and IDS standards
• In presales, you help with the preparation of offers, demos and proof-of-concepts, the recording of customer requirements and the preparation of customer presentations and pitches
• You identify new business opportunities and target customers, help build partnerships and the sales pipeline in the areas of dataspaces, data ecosystems and data economy
• You work in an internationally distributed team with experienced experts, consultants and tech-savvy data scientists in agile project teams and squads
• You work with modern software tools such as Slack, Salesforce, Jira and Confluence as well as methods such as Design Thinking in Miro and agile frameworks such as SAFe

Your profile

You are studying economics, business informatics, a comparable degree program or are in a gap year. You also have the following knowledge and skills:

• You enjoy customer contact, are good at presentations and like to impress customers and partners
• You have strong communication skills as well as written and oral communication skills in English and German
• You have a strong focus on goals and implementation, entrepreneurial thinking and a high level of ability to work in a team
• You are interested in getting to know how to work in an agile start-up team with modern software tools in a large corporation
• Are you looking for a springboard for a career in presales and business development
• You may have already gained initial experience with the data economy, in sales, presales or in approaching customers, have initial knowledge of digital technologies and data-driven business models
