Modelmaker (m/f/d)

About the role

To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Modelmaker (m/f/d) with a strong technical background and a creative mindset. In this role, you will report directly report to the Design Manager at Agile Robots and contribute to a diverse range of challenging and innovative projects at our subsidiary, Demo DesignModellbau GmbH. To this end, you'll work ~50% on site at our Agile Robots headquarters in Obersendling and ~50% on site at our sister company Demo DesignModellbau in Schwanthalerhöhe.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and model construction using SolidWorks
• Create design models, functional prototypes, and prototypes according to the specifications of our clients
• Manage and execute tasks from our internal ticket system, primarily requests from R&D departments
• CAD setup (if necessary) and CAM programming
• Develop milling programs in CAD
• Manufacture individual components using3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Operate and maintain 3D printers, including overseeing 3D printing tasks
• Perform finishing processes before and after priming
• Carry out painting tasks for various types of models
• Assemble finished components into final models

Your Profile

• 2–4 years of professional experience as a design model maker
• Experience in operating CNC machines
• Solid experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• A methodical, creative approach with a good sense of color and shape
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• High sense of responsibility, with the ability to manage tasks independently and reliably
• Structured, detail-oriented work style with a commitment to quality
• Good command of both English and German
• Availability to work on site in Munich - both at Agile Robots as well at Demo DesignModellbau
