Intern AI Solution Factory (f/m/x)

Our team at the BMW Group brings the latest Data Science and Generative AI technologies into the company. We support the Customer, Brands and Sales divisions in exploring and implementing innovative use cases, covering the full range from Agentic AI workflows to Machine Learning models. During your internship, you will gain valuable experience in a professional AI team.

What awaits you?

• You will support the exploration and development of AI use cases for our business.
• Furthermore, you help to explore and implement the latest agentic and Generative AI algorithms, protocols, and techniques.
• In addition, you contribute to projects on AI Agents, Vector Stores, RAG, Data Pipelines, Backend or Frontend Development, or User Experience, depending on your skills and interests.
• Moreover, you will assist in modernizing and agent-ifying digital processes at BMW Group.
• You will help to research and keep up to date with developments in Generative AI and Machine Learning.
• Additionally, you support the implementation of relevant techniques and protocols in your applications.

What should you bring along?

• Studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a related technical field.
• Solid coding skills in Python; TypeScript/Node.js experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in building LLM-powered applications such as RAG, prompting or evaluation.
• Fundamental understanding of Generative AI and agentic workflows (models, tokenization, context windows) highly desired.
• Experience with frontend development, Figma and user experience is a plus.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus.
• Fluent English skills.
