In order to handle the strong growth of our customer base and their demands, we are continuously expanding our Engine domain and heavily invest in the performance and scalability of our engine.The Role:For the Core squad of our Process Query Engine team, we are looking for a Software Engineer with solid experience in system programming and the skills to build a highly parallelized and distributed database with modern C++ and Java. As part of a talented engineering team, you’ll develop and implement new concepts and algorithms for our Process Query Engine, take ownership of our solutions to increase reliability and performance, and drive initiatives to shape future innovations.The work you’ll do:Develop new concepts and algorithms for data management and query executionChallenge and benchmark our solutions using performance engineering principlesShape and contribute to our development and maintenance processesCommunicate and coordinate with stakeholders and customersTake responsibility for the performance, scalability, and reliability of our solutionsSupport in problem-solving and optimizationMentor project teams and more junior engineersLead projects and define technical roadmapsTake full responsibility from end-to-end - from problem to solutionThe qualifications you'll need:University degree in Computer Science or comparable educationExperience in system programming with modern C++.
