Programme Manager (German Market)

Pinewood.AI is seeking an experienced and proactive bilingual (German and English) Programme Manager to lead the delivery of our mature automotive software solution into the German market. This is a high-impact, client-facing role, working closely with automotive retailers, OEMs, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and successful deployment.


The role is based in Germany and will involve extensive travel to client sites across Germany, wider Europe, and occasionally other regions as required. You’ll take ownership of the full delivery lifecycle, from programme planning through to adoption, ensuring milestones are met, stakeholders are engaged, and local requirements are addressed. With your strong leadership, governance skills, and understanding of the automotive industry, you’ll be central to ensuring our clients in Germany get maximum value from our platform.


This role will suit someone who thrives on complex, high-profile delivery programmes, enjoys working with senior stakeholders, and can confidently navigate cross-functional, multilingual environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of our automotive software solution in Germany, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and business objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for German clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the programme lifecycle.

• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Development, Sales, Legal) and external partners (OEMs, vendors) to coordinate programme activities.
• Develop and maintain detailed programme plans, risk registers, and resource forecasts.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues proactively, and manage changes effectively.
• Chair programme reviews, steering committees, and deliver regular status reports to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure the solution meets local German regulatory, language, and operational requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements to delivery processes and client experiences.

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken German and English – essential for this role.

• Proven programme management experience in the automotive or SaaS sector.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with experience navigating complex environments.
• Track record of delivering software solutions in international markets, including Germany.
• Understanding of OEM relationships and automotive industry dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar programme management certification preferred.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience working with German automotive OEMs.
• Knowledge of SaaS deployment models, data privacy, and system integration.
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
