Senior Legal Counsel - DACH (m/f/d)

We're working with an international technology business that is looking to strengthen its legal team with the appointment of a Senior Legal Counsel in Munich.

This is a broad, commercially focused role supporting stakeholders across multiple in the DACH region. You'll advise on a wide variety of legal matters, partnering closely with sales, procurement, operations and leadership to help the business navigate legal risk while enabling commercial growth.

You'll join an established international legal team and work on cross-border matters alongside colleagues globally.

TASKS

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements with customers, suppliers and strategic partners.
• Providing practical legal advice on commercial disputes, product quality and warranty issues in partnership with commercial and operational teams.
• Supporting with general corporate legal matters.
• Supporting the wider business on a range of legal topics including employment law, intellectual property, insurance, logistics and regulatory compliance.
• Partnering with colleagues on international legal projects and helping to drive consistent legal processes across multiple regions.
• Advising on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR compliance.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide commercially pragmatic, solution-oriented legal advice that enables the business to move quickly while managing risk.

REQUIREMENTS

• German-qualified lawyer with approximately 6+ years experience gained either in private practice, in-house, or a combination of both.
• Strong commercial contracts experience, ideally gained within an international business.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk against business objectives.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Someone who enjoys building relationships and becoming a trusted advisor to the wider business.
