In-house German Game Linguist - Join Us in Barcelona

The German Game Linguist role is to translate from English into German in game content. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity, and a passion for Games.

This position is In-house working on a client specific project expected to last  1 year,  with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at Parque empresarial 22@, Carrer de Fluvià, 65, Sant Martí, Barcelona, Spain. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on in game content for a leading games publisher!

What you’ll do

• Translate, review, and polish in-game and non-in-game content from English into German , maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Own the linguistic quality of your work, ensuring every line sounds natural, engaging, and true to the game’s world.
• Collaborate closely with fellow linguists to deliver consistent and player-friendly translations.

Requirements

• Native-level German speaker (a must!)
• A genuine passion for video games and storytelling.
• Background in linguistics, translation, or copywriting — or equivalent experience.
• Excellent German writing style with strong English skills.
• A self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment .
• A collaborative spirit with strong interpersonal skills.
