Why we need youThe Team Lead IT Support is accountable for the continuous enhancement of Maltego’s internal IT function, ensuring employees are equipped with secure, reliable, and efficient technology services throughout their entire lifecycle with the company. This Team Lead role oversees endpoint management, identity and access management, workplace technology, office infrastructure, and SaaS applications (Jira, Lucidchart, etc.), while leading and developing a high-performing IT team.Working closely with Security, Compliance, and business stakeholders across the organization, the Team Lead IT Support improves our support processes, keeps systems available with minimal endpoint failures, and focuses on security to meet certification requirements – while keeping IT scalable and efficient. The role plays a critical part in supporting a distributed international workforce by delivering seamless access to systems, devices, and services while enabling business productivity and growth.Success in this position is defined by the establishment and maintenance of a secure, cloud-first, and highly scalable IT environment that supports organizational objectives and enables employees to perform at their best. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise across the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune, with strong leadership capabilities, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service and operational reliability.What to expectOwn the full device lifecycle for macOS, Windows, and iOS endpoints — provisioning, MDM policy management via Microsoft Intune, and offboarding — ensuring every device meets security and compliance standards.Harden endpoints and manage endpoint security with Microsoft Defender, continuously raising and maintaining the organization's security baseline.Administer identity and access management in Microsoft Entra ID, including SSO activation, configuration, and ongoing monitoring, and lead regular access reviews so entitlements stay accurate and audit-ready.Design and operate reliable onboarding, role-change, and offboarding workflows that keep access and tooling synchronized across the organization.Evaluate, procure, and administer Maltego's SaaS software stack, vendor relationships, and license optimization.Manage and maintain office network infrastructure — including Ubiquiti networking equipment and connectivity — across a distributed workforce.Lead, develop, and prioritize work for a small IT team, setting clear expectations and supporting professional growth.Run IT service delivery end-to-end — owning the ticketing system, defining SLAs, and maintaining a high standard of internal user support.Partner with Security and Compliance on access reviews, endpoint hardening, audit evidence collection, and shared IT security standards.Your profile in shortRequired Qualifications (Must Have)5+ years in IT-Support, including at least 2 years managing a team in a technology company.Proven experience running a cloud-first IT environment with strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Intune.Endpoint management with Intune across macOS, Windows, and iOS — device provisioning, policy management, endpoint hardening, and offboarding at scale.Identity and access management experience with Microsoft Entra ID directory services, SSO activation, configuration, and monitoring, and access reviews.Endpoint security experience, ideally with Microsoft Defender, and a track record of partnering with Security on endpoint hardening and audit evidence.User lifecycle management: designing and operating reliable onboarding, role-change, and offboarding workflows that keep access accurate and audit-ready.SaaS portfolio management: evaluating, procuring, and administering an internal software stack, with budget ownership, vendor management, and license optimization.Hands-on experience with office network infrastructure, including Ubiquiti or comparable enterprise networking equipment, VPN, and connectivity troubleshooting.Experience supporting a distributed workforce across multiple locations and time zones, with an understanding of the IT challenges that come with it.Strong service delivery mindset — comfortable owning ticketing systems, defining SLAs, and maintaining a high standard of internal support.Strong cross-functional collaborator, able to partner with Security and Compliance on access reviews, endpoint hardening, audit evidence, and shared IT security standards.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Experience in a scale-up or growth-stage company, ideally through a period of headcount or tooling growth.Familiarity with IT asset management and procurement processes.Professional proficiency in German.Why you will love MaltegoHere are some of the reasons why you will love Maltego:Insights into the daily operations of a fast-growing tech scale-up.Competitive compensation with a bonus/commission structure based on pipeline creation.Inclusive, diverse culture, where your voice and contributions matter.Supported language courses Mental health support via .nilo (psychologists & digital tools)At Maltego, we are committed to supporting diversity and inclusion in our organization.
