As a science brand, we are best known for our distinctive animated videos and our elaborate products around the kurzgesagt theme worlds. Through our globally successful YouTube channel with over 25 million subscribers, we aim to inspire people around the world about science and make knowledge accessible and exciting. We believe that well-researched facts are just as important as humor and good storytelling. Nothing in the universe is boring if you tell a good story. Our production team is looking for support as of October 2026. For this role, we're seeking someone located in the Munich area or within commuting distance. Producer (all genders) Location: Munich Start: October 2026 How to make an impact - in a nutshell

• Producer / Project Manager for the video production of our YouTube channel and other social media platforms
• Independent management of projects in the field of video production in close cooperation with internal creative teams
• Project coordination, including the creation of timelines, definition of milestones, as well as budget and resource planning
• Project controlling and reporting: monitoring of costs, milestones, deadlines, as well as performance tracking
• Coordination and communication with external vendors

What you are best known for

• You have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience (such as Producer/Project Manager) in the YouTube/social media field or similar
• You independently manage production projects from planning through delivery and keep multiple workstreams on track simultaneously
• You coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure smooth collaboration between all stakeholders involved in a project
• You proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and work towards practical solutions
• You communicate clearly and confidently with both creative and operational stakeholders
• A high degree of personal responsibility, strong communication skills, analytical and structured thinking, combined with solution-oriented action, set you apart
• You enjoy working independently, cross-functionally, and as part of a team
• You master office programs and various tools (e.g. Asana)
• You are fluent in German and have a good command of English, both written and spoken
• You enjoy working in a dynamic team
• You are enthusiastic about making scientific topics accessible for millions of people
