This project is the European Union's answer to the pressing challenges of tomorrow to provide secure connectivity services and enhanced communication capacities to the EU and its Member States. In addition, as well as to governmental users, private companies and European citizens while benefiting from ensuring high-speed internet broadband to cope with connectivity dead zones.SES – together with other consortium partners and core members - was selected by the European Commission to build and to operate the IRIS2 multi-orbit satellite constellation.The IRIS2 team enters next project phases, we seek and there is a strong need of support for all the activities around service provisioning and products that the system can offer in the future.ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThe Programme Reporting & Governance Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and operation of the programme governance framework, including structured reporting, decision‑making support, and governance compliance across all programme levels.The role ensures that programme status, risks, changes, and performance indicators are consistently consolidated, clearly communicated, and decision‑ready, enabling timely and informed governance at all levels.This role acts as the central coordination point for programme reporting and governance execution, ensuring that no critical information, decision, or action remains unmanaged.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREASGovernance Framework ExecutionImplement and maintain the programme governance structure, including boards, forums, and escalation pathsEnsure that governance processes are consistently applied across all segments and partnersSupport the preparation and coordination of:Programme Operations Management BoardRisk & Change BoardPlanning & Performance ReviewsSteering Committee inputsProgramme ReportingDevelop and maintain the Programme Operations Management Pack (single source of truth)Consolidate inputs from:Delivery teamsIntegration & Control functionsSupport functionsEnsure consistent, structured, and timely reporting of:Programme statusRisks and issuesChanges and impactsKPIs and performance indicatorsDecision Support & TraceabilityEnsure all governance forums are provided with decision‑ready informationMaintain:Decision logsAction trackingEnsure full traceability of decisions and follow‑up actionsCoordination & AlignmentAct as interface between:Programme Management OperationsIntegration & Control disciplines (planning, cost, risk)PMT & QualityDelivery teamsEnsure alignment between:Reporting outputsGovernance discussionsActual programme statusQuality & Consistency of ReportingDefine and enforce reporting standards, templates, and formatsEnsure data consistency across:Schedule (IMS)Risk & Change registersCost and resource viewsDrive continuous improvement of reporting clarity and usabilityCOMPETENCIESStrong experience in programme reporting and governance in complex projectsSolid understanding of: Programme management processesRisk, change, planning, and cost integrationAbility to consolidate and communicate complex information in a clear and structured mannerStrong coordination and stakeholder management skillsHigh level of attention to detail combined with big‑picture understandingExperience in multi‑stakeholder or institutional programmes (ESA/EC) is a strong assetQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEUniversity degree in either Telecom, IT or Satellite EngineeringMinimum 5 years proven professional experience in project managementFluency in English, both written and spokenAny other European Language is considered an assetExperience in using MS Tools including MS ProjectStrong experience in project management and programme environmentsExperience in tool implementation and system integrationProven experience in working with EU, ESA, and or national governmental institutions along ECSS standardsPMP Certification (nonessential)ITIL 4 Certificate (nonessential)OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTSThe candidate must be eligible for a “SECRET” security clearance, in accordance with the national regulations as well as EU/ESA/NATO equivalentsWilling to work 60% onsite from officeTravel as required for project realization purposesdiv.content { } div.joqReqDescription { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif!important; text-align:left; width:700px!important; margin:0 auto!important; position:relative;
