Senior Robotics Software Engineer - Behavior Trees (f/m/x)

Your tasks

• You design and develop sophisticated robot behaviors using Behavior Trees
• You integrate software components into our robotics software stack
• You improve our robot diagnostics and error-handling system
• You maintain and enhance our internal robotics codebase
• You provide expert support to customers developing robot behaviors
• You act as an internal subject-matter expert for robotics-related inquiries

Requirements

• You have an M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field
• You bring more than three years of professional experience in software engineering
• You are strongly proficient in Python and ROS on Linux platforms
• You approach challenges with a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
• You demonstrate excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• You are fluent in English, and your proficiency in German is a valuable plus
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • You are familiar with the design and implementation of behavior trees
  • You have knowledge of C++ and Prolog or other logic programming languages
  • You have experience in customer-facing roles and can communicate technical concepts clearly
  • You have worked with PostgreSQL and/or Django
