Executive Storyteller & Speechwriter (f/m/d)

We're seeking an Executive Storyteller & Speechwriter (f/m/d) for our Chief Sustainability and People Officer (CPSO) who strengthens the CPSO’s public positioning and shapes high impact narratives around her leadership agenda.

Joining our experienced CPSO Communications team at Siemens, you'll maximize the CPSO's voice, impact, and reach while enhancing Siemens' perception as a focused technology company in the age of AI. You're a strategic communicator with exceptional storytelling skills who translates complex people and sustainability topics – having also a thorough understanding of the political landscape – into strong and inspiring messages for diverse audiences. You are sparring with and supporting the CPSO to create compelling content across all communication channels in English and German.

Your daily business

• Craft incisive, thought-provoking and intellectually rigorous briefing materials, speaking notes and strategic communications for the CPSO, including panel discussions, keynote appearances and other high-profile internal and external engagements, as well as compelling speeches and related social media content in English and German.
• Tailor messages to diverse audiences with deep understanding of communications across fields and channels and also steer overarching communication projects related to the CPSO appearances.
• Research and align content in close collaboration with Siemens businesses, functions, and Communications colleagues
• Act as sparrings partner for CPSO through messaging development, providing strategic counsel and guidance
• Analyze audience feedback on the effectiveness of communications
• Support executive communications planning, activity monitoring, and identifying new opportunities with the Siemens Communications Team     

Your success is grounded in

• Education

Master's degree in communications, humanities, sustainability, business administration, or equivalent

• Experience & Skills
• Extensive experience (+8 years) in communications and speechwriting, with expertise in sustainability and people topics
• Executive communications experience, ideally supporting C-level leaders at technology companies
• Strong foundation in and passion for people & organization and sustainability topics with a thorough understanding of the German political and policy landscape.
• Ability to develop thought leadership content
• Journalistic experience is a plus

• Ability to lead, manage, and collaborate with international teams on complex projects
• Openness to learning, feedback, and constructively challenging the status quo
• Proven team player across business functions globally
• Strong focus and prioritization skills in fast-paced, multi-project environments with flexibility to shift as needs arise
• Bring strong AI literacy and a passion for innovation to craft forward-looking briefing materials, speeches and communication strategies that position the CPSO at the forefront of conversations on technology, people and the future of work.

Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills in German and English ; business proficiency in both languages is a requirement
