Founded in October 2022 by Johanna von Geyr (build-up and led Financial Services Practice for a NASDAQ-listed strategy consultancy) and Harald Braunstein (serial entrepreneur with exits incl. IPO), we bring together deep functional domain expertise and networks in global Financial Services, with a proven track record in building, scaling, and investing in leading software product companies.

The role and what you will work on

  • Align packed calendars, orchestrate meetings across time zones, handle documentation, invoices, and complex travel logistics. Your organizational instinct keeps the Founders / CEOs focused on what matters.
  • Solve problems before they surface. You do not wait for instructions — you read the situation, act independently, and ensure the Founders / CEOs always have what they need to drive the business forward.
  • Act as the extended arm of the Founders / CEOs — with every employee, client, and stakeholder. This is not an assistant role. It is a trust role. You embody the ethos and vision of ALAIKA's leadership.
  • Be the force behind ALAIKA's signature global executive events — gathering industry leaders and luminaries. Monthly and quarterly team and client gatherings too. Every event is a statement. You make it happen.

You will work alongside intrinsically driven people who do "what it takes" — and you hold your own among them. You're the one who makes it run. The aim: become the right hand the founders can't operate without.

  • Entrepreneurial guts. Self-confident achiever. Act first, apologise later — speed is everything. Take full ownership of work normally reserved for far more senior profiles.

What you bring

  • A strong track record of previous work experience is a must, as is experience working as an executive assistant.
  • Startup mindset. Comfortable with change, urgency, and ambiguity. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments — not despite the pressure, but because of it.
  • Fluent in English and German, both in speech and writing (min. C1). Clear, direct, persuasive.
  • Tech fluency. Strong command of Windows and MS Office Suite, especially Outlook. Experience in SAP, Greenhouse, or Personio is an advantage.
  • Your organizational and problem-solving instincts are unmatched. Deadlines, details, and dynamic environments — that is where you are at your best.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential data is second nature. Trust is your middle name.
  • You know how to build and navigate relationships — and how to identify and reach the right people to get things done.
  • Finance affinity. A background in finance or experience with finance-related processes — receipts, documentation, SAP — is beneficial.
