Event Technology Support Specialist (f/m/d)

Your role
As part of our IT team in Munich you will act as a dedicated on-site support wavespace specialist and technical first point of contact for meetings and events held in their respective geographic area. You will take on a wide range of responsibilities:

• Lead technology planning and execution for client workshops and internal events, ensuring immersive user experiences through effective environment setup
• Manage and maintain AV systems, including Crestron control systems and NDI streaming setups, while supporting Microsoft Teams integrations for enhanced collaboration
• Conduct pre-event technology checks and provide real-time support during events, troubleshooting issues and implementing alternative solutions as needed
• Onboard and train EY account teams and external personnel on wavespace technology, collaborating with AV vendors and global technology teams
• Ensure compliance with data security protocols and liaise with relevant teams to uphold EY standards in technology operations

Your skillset

• Bachelor's degree in computer related field or equivalent work experience as well as at least 3 years of experience in AV/end user technology support, experience with cloud technology e.g. MS Azure is beneficial
• Medium-level networking knowledge, including AV networking and Extreme Networks as well as event support and live event management / production, knowledge of AV industry standards highly recommended
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills as well as excellent customer service attitude as well as excellent communication skills in German and English
