We are looking for a full-time Industry Analyst Commodity Trading (all genders) to join our team in Cologne or Munich at the earliest possible start date, supporting our consultants as a subject-matter expert in commodity trading.

Shape the world of tomorrow

• You support our clients and teams in commodity trading with your expert knowledge of market trends, technological implications, solution evaluation, and benchmarking — from requirements analysis through to implementation
• You rework and redesign client-specific solutions, including commodity and energy trading and risk management (CTRM/ETRM), portfolio management, forecasting, planning, and logistics solutions, as well as digital data platforms and tools for value measurement and optimization
• You develop demos, PoCs, and MVPs for digital trading use cases (e.g., back-office automation, GenAI-enabled market briefings) — taking concepts from prototype to enterprise-ready blueprint
• You actively advance our internal knowledge management by contributing to the development of new IT expertise in energy trading, and you create training materials and presentations for our consultants while enabling the provision of proprietary sales, service, and grid platforms
• You enhance delivery quality by developing and sharing methodological approaches, including ensuring adherence to industry best practices for delivery teams in the energy sector

You can help us make a difference

• You have successfully completed a degree in (Business) Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• You have gained at least two years of relevant experience in the implementation of energy utility solutions within an industrial company, software provider, or consulting environment
• You have experience with DevOps as well as release, environment, and test management
• You bring both theoretical and hands-on experience in developing and configuring industry-standard energy utility software (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Powercloud, SIV, Wilken)
• You have initial experience working with sales, service, or grid system landscapes, including core systems, interfaces, and current trends in data landscape development
• You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills and are motivated to make an impact. You enjoy working collaboratively toward shared goals and know how to leverage your communication skills effectively
• You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills
