Director Global IT & Cyber Security (all genders)

• Responsible for Schleich´s global IT transformation & digitalization strategy of all B2B core processes and their enterprise landscape
• Leadership and team development of an international IT team for Infrastructure, Workplace, Cloud, SAP & Business Applications
• You will mentor and inspire a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Budget responsibility and cost control for IT operation & digitalization initiatives.
• Leading Schleich’s ISMS activities, in close collaboration with Finance & Legal, its strategic IT security (TOM) development, cyber defense operations as well as penetration/vulnerability audits
• Responsible for designing Schleich’s IT architecture, business application landscape as well as IT service operation, supplier portfolio strategy for managed IT services and sourcing strategy
• Responsible for the Business Intelligence team to strategically implement applications, tools, methods and data governance that enable Schleich to use business insights and develop the global organization to a data driven company
• Responsible for the global e-commerce tech stack, including Shopify & a PIM system, in terms of IT operation, security and project portfolio management to support the business growth

The chapters of your story so far:

• Degree in (business) Information Technology or similar qualification with more than five years of relevant professional experience in IT & Digitalization Management
• Proven modern Leadership to lead and coach international teams, demonstrated ability to manage medium to large scale IT programs & projects, with a hands-on approach with many (5+) years of experience
• Technical Expertise across all IT areas, including advanced technical expertise in enterprise cloud infrastructure (Microsoft technologies like Azure & M365), SAP ECC & S/4Hana, as well as process, data and middleware cloud applications
• Experienced in global IT Operations; Ability to build & manage strong relationships with external global IT Managed Service Provider, including near- and offshore Partners ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met
• Solid experience & knowledge in Cyber Security, including organizational, regulatory and technical security measures. A CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 auditor certification is a plus
• Innovative and pragmatic mindset with a strong commitment for change & renovation in a dynamic business environment. Professional background in the FMCG industry or similar corporate is a plus
• Strong communication, stakeholder and management skills as well as intercultural competence for navigating cross-functional teams to identify and deliver technology solutions that address business challenges
• Personality with strong flexibility and resilience as well as solution-orientated and entrepreneurial mindset
• Independent, proactive & data-driven working style
• Excellent command of English (C1 level), with proficiency in German considered an advantage
