Product Manager Lead - Core Platform ( f/m/d)

• Start date: as soon as possible

• Yearly Salary: €90,000 - €100,000 (fixed range, annual gross)

• Equity: €40,000 - €80,000 in company shares

• Benefits: up to €5,000 annually

• Work Model: Full-time, hybrid (based in Munich)

Your role

As a Product Manager Lead you lead the discovery and definition of product truth for our internal platforms and manage a team of product managers to translate user needs into clearly defined product requirements and roadmaps. You lead product definition and delivery of the core platform behind our AI-powered imaging product line, working closely with development leads in software and infrastructure along with TPMs. You exhibit high customer-empathy, crisp communication, and leadership via influence.

Your day-to-day

On a typical day, you will:

• Guide and mentor a team of product managers.

• Plan resources & hiring strategies for the team.

• Engage with internal customers to identify product opportunities and address pain points.

• Define, refine, and review product features and requirements to ensure alignment with business needs.

• Collaborate with development teams & TPMs to synchronize delivery schedules with customer expectations.

• Communicate product status and roadmap effectively to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

• Drive stakeholder alignment on new investment opportunities to maximize business impact.

Product definition

• Craft clear, concise, and well-defined feature requirements with precise documentation.

• Engage stakeholders through compelling presentations, gathering feedback and translating insights into actionable direction for development teams.

• Develop and communicate product roadmaps that inspire enthusiasm from both customers and development teams, ensuring alignment and clarity.

Leadership

• Align with stakeholders to secure buy-in on tactical plans that drive product execution.

• Align the priorities of the engineering team with the priorities of the company.

• Resolve paradoxes between user needs and technical feasibility constraints.

• Facilitate speedy, well-thought-through decision-making by communicating needs clearly, digesting feedback, and synthesizing information.

• Mentor and guide a diverse, experienced team of product managers.

Leadership expertise

• You have experience with people-managing product managers and/or engineers.

• You have experience driving strategy for internal platforms.

Technological expertise

• You have experience delivering software platforms that internal development teams rely on.

• You have experience with DevEx, Devprod, data and/or AI platforms.

• You have experience building software infrastructure and bare metal infrastructure.

• You have experience building cloud & computing platforms.

• You have previous experience with hands-on engineering.
