Boxer UK Programme Manager (m/f/d)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The BOXER 8x8 is an international military vehicle programme between DE, NL, LT and UK via the consortium ARTEC GmbH in Munich. ARTEC is a joint venture between KNDS Deutschland GmbH & Co KG, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. ARTEC is the main contractor for the BOXER programme, responsible for coordinating series production and exporting the BOXER. By November 2025, more than 2,000 BOXER vehicles had been contracted. Further major projects are in the pipeline.

• Project Manager for the large BOXER UK contract handling the development and supply of military wheeled vehicles, jointly with another Project Manager, supported by a Programme Officer
• Management of the programme and the various sub-projects as well as management of the project team dealing with it
• Coordination of international partners involved in the programme (contracting authorities, end-customers, main sub-suppliers)
• Stakeholder support and intensive collaboration with the clients’ representatives
• Preparation and management of negotiations
• Internal reporting and to the established steering committees
• Escalation level for project members, sub-project managers, customers and main sub-suppliers
• Resource management and prioritization in the programme

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Several years of professional experience in the relevant field of military vehicles or capital goods/project driven industry (in an industry role or as part of a military organization)
• Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering or business administration
• Sound knowledge of industrial vehicle/military technology or relevant capital goods industry (project related business)
• Very good knowledge of international project management and systematic knowledge of project planning
• Experience in dealing with international customers
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Willingness to travel
• Willingness to relocate to/work from Munich
