YOUR ROLE

As our Store & Receiving Clerk , you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods throughout Rosewood Munich. You will oversee daily receiving and storeroom operations, ensuring all deliveries are accurately received, inspected, documented, stored, and distributed. Working closely with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Finance, and operational departments, you will help maintain inventory accuracy, support invoice processing, and ensure the highest standards of organization, compliance, and operational efficiency.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies, damaged goods, pricing variances, and delivery issues to the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure goods are stored securely, distributed efficiently, and allocated to the correct departments.
• Manage departmental requisitions, pick and deliver stock items, and accurately record inventory movements in BirchStreet.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, overstock situations, expired items, and inventory variances.
• Support Accounts Payable through invoice verification and three-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts, and supplier invoices.
• Maintain accurate receiving records, delivery documentation, and inventory data in line with company procedures.
• Keep receiving areas and storerooms organized, clean, secure, and compliant with all hygiene and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers, Purchasing, Finance, and operational teams to ensure efficient workflows and timely issue resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance receiving, storage, and inventory processes.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• Relevant vocational training or an equivalent qualification in Hospitality, Purchasing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in receiving, stores, inventory management, purchasing, or a comparable procurement and finance environment.
• Practical experience with procurement systems, stock control, goods receiving, invoice processing, and inventory management.
• Working knowledge of BirchStreet, MICROS Simphony, and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of purchasing controls, inventory processes, and invoice matching procedures.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of documentation and record keeping.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative and service-oriented mindset.
• Professional working proficiency in English and German.
