What You'll Do

​​We are seeking a Working Student to support the Global Strategic Alliances team. We are looking for students who are self-motivated and excited by steady stream of project-based work. This includes supporting database management, analytics and preparation of pipeline reporting to drafting communications, liaising with global teams, reaching across the firm to continue to promote the Alliance agenda. The team specifically needs support driving events, maintaining scorecards, building dashboards for pipeline management & sales operations and to engage across global learning & development agenda.

 

​The Global Strategic Alliances team is driving new lines of business in the topics of Gen AI, enterprise platform and cloud. The core objective of the team is to build new businesses for BCG through technology and services partnerships. The role will require daily engagement with internal & external stakeholders, BCG client teams, marketing, learning & development, product teams and BCG leadership. The student will support across the GSA management team in advancing our operations and go-to-market agenda. This role interfaces with technology experts, consulting colleagues & ecosystem contacts at the world’s largest technology companies. Candidates will bring excellent communication skills & be able to work with discretion.​

 

You're good at

• ​​Organized, detail oriented, analytical, ability to synthesize meetings and feedback key insights in compelling way (email, slides etc..)
• ​Interpersonal communication skills, inquisitive, able to ask clarifying questions
• ​Being proactive and resourceful, a good networker and someone up for challenge of learning an organization quickly
• ​Taking initiative with limited direction; ability to prioritize and consider tradeoffs when considering where to focus
• ​Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment​

You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic, and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 to max. 24 moths. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.

What You'll Bring

 

• ​Preference for someone working on a BS/BA or MS/MA in Business, Marketing, Finance or Technology
• ​Preferably a senior student with strong academic performance with first relevant working experience
• ​​Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills, proficient in other MS office
• BCG has flexible work options but requires the working student to be physically present in the BCG Munich office (if required by BCG/Hiring Manager) several days a week.

The team comprises of the Global Alliances Executive Director, Directors, Senior Managers and supporting team who oversee the program through pillars of brand build, program management, capability build, business development and go to market initiatives. The team is dedicated to commercializing our growing number of strategic alliance partnerships and market-facing opportunities across practice areas, industries & geographies.
