Application Segment Manager Radar/EW/EMSO (m/f/d)

Define the future of radar, electronic warfare and spectrum‑operations RF testing — guiding cross‑functional teams to deliver the measurement and simulation solutions customers rely on when it matters most

Tasks

• You continuously define and update the strategic direction of our Test & Measurement portfolio for Radar/EW and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) applications based on market developments, customer feedback and technology trends.
• You capture and consolidate detailed, domain-specific customer requirements from lead customers and analyze application and feature requests with regard to technical, financial and business aspects.
• You translate application priorities into requirements and features across relevant product groups and are responsible for the application roadmap.
• You identify portfolio gaps, contribute new solution ideas and support the creation of development proposals as part of portfolio planning.
• You work closely with product management, business development, sales and application engineers to align product, market and customer requirements.
• You act as a recognized subject matter expert for Radar/EW/EMSO-related RF measurements and scenario simulation, supporting both the internal organization and go-to-market activities.

Qualifications

• You have a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Information Technology or a comparable technical field.
• You bring profound subject matter expertise in the field of Radar, Electronic Warfare and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations as well as professional experience in product management, application engineering, research and development or technology management in a B2B environment.
• You understand customer needs and the dynamics of the value chain and bring experience in professional exchange with lead customers and technology partners.
• You have solid analytical and commercial skills to evaluate business cases and market potential together with technical feasibility.
• You are able to drive cross-functional collaboration in a matrix organization and possess an entrepreneurial mindset along with willingness to travel internationally.
• You convince through strong communication and presentation skills as well as a pronounced customer orientation.
• Very good German skills and very good English skills (written and spoken) round off your profile.
