• Location: Munich, Germany

• Employment Type: Full-Time, indefinite term

• Salary Range: € 75.000 - 100.000 per year gross depending on the seniority level

• Working Mode: Office-first work setup

• Language Requirement: C1 Level English, German is a plus

Your Responsibilities

As a (Senior) Product Manager for Energy Trading, you will play a key role in shaping and driving product development initiatives. You will be responsible for identifying high-impact opportunities, defining the solutions jointly with business and tech stakeholders , and ensuring successful execution in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Identify and drive customer value by deeply understanding customer needs, trading challenges, and market opportunities.

• Gather and analyze requirements, market trends, regulations, and customer needs to shape product decisions.

• Translate insights into clear product features and specifications, ensuring clarity and alignment with engineering teams.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, tech) to ensure seamless product execution and alignment with business objectives.

• Engage with key partners and stakeholders to drive strategic integrations and enhance performance.

• Continuously analyze product performance metrics, guiding improvements and innovations to maintain competitive advantage.

Your Profile

Mandatory Requirements

• 1+ years experience in the energy industry in Germany, ideally in a market-facing or technical role, with knowledge of its regulatory and commercial dynamics.

• 3+ years experience of hands-on product management experience in the tech industry working on complex software products.

• You enjoy working at the intersection of tech, product and business development.

• Strong track record of delivering and launching complex technology products end-to-end.

• You enjoy solving problems and sparring ideas in a cross-functional team with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and more

• Proven experience in stakeholder management, aligning business, technical, and market perspectives to deliver impactful products.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in German is a plus

• Strong understanding of energy trading, including power markets, trading strategies, and optimization of assets such as battery storage.

• You have built and managed a truly innovative product or complex software.
