WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Your Mission

As a Customer Operations Analyst, you are the operational point of contact for the data platform of an Earth observation satellite constellation. You are responsible for managing the process from the initial customer inquiry (e.g., German Federal Armed Forces/Bundeswehr) through to data delivery. In this role, you provide sound operational support and handle a wide variety of requests that are often complex, time-critical, or non-standard.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer requests from feasibility assessment through planning, delivery, and follow-up.

• Handle complex orders, support priority customers, and resolve specific operational scenarios independently.

• Act as a point of contact for escalations and provide practical support in challenging cases.

• Build trusted customer relationships through clear communication, reliability, and proactive issue management.

• Monitor order progress, identify risks early, and coordinate solutions with internal stakeholders.

• Contribute to reporting, documentation, service training, and continuous improvement activities.

Technical Skills and Experience

• Strong operational experience in customer support, order management, or technical service support.

• Familiarity with GIS platforms for geospatial data visualization.

• Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce.

• Experience with ERP systems supporting fulfillment and delivery workflows.

• Ability to use KPI and BI reporting systems, including internal dashboards.

• Good understanding of SAR imagery, remote sensing principles, or geospatial data handling.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and similar workflow or documentation tools.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, structured data).

Nice to have:

• Experience with Python or basic scripting for simple checks or operational analysis.

• Experience with SaVoir or equivalent satellite tasking and planning tools.
