What you'll do

• Build new features and components for our web-based global platform application, providing valuable feedback and suggesting tradeoffs to deliver the best solutions
• Collaborate with the team to maintain and improve the architecture of our web solutions, ensuring alignment with Knauf’s architectural guidelines
• Take ownership of maintaining and troubleshooting both frontend and backend systems, ensuring performance and reliability
• Share meaningful insights into code quality and work with the team to establish and uphold best practices and coding standards

Who you are

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React; experience with Next.js and NestJS is a plus
• Solid understanding of API architectures, authentication methods, microservices, and containerization technologies
• Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Ideally you have worked with Kafka or similar event streaming technologies
• Proficiency in modern development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and infrastructure management with tools like Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
