Are you passionate about risk modeling and turning data into decisions that protect the bottom line? At SIXT, we are building a new Actuarial Risk Steering team, which will have a high-impact function at the heart of our Finance organization, dedicated to preventing and reducing financial losses across fraud, theft, bad debt, and damage. As a Risk Analyst (m/f/d) Actuarial Risk Steering, you will develop predictive risk models, design operational policies, and deliver insights that directly influence how SIXT operates across more than 10 countries. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You analyze rental losses (fraud, theft, damage, bad debts) using actuarial techniques to quantify financial exposure and identify risk drivers
• You extract and integrate data from multiple sources (rental, fleet, finance losses) using SQL to build datasets for risk modeling and analysis
• You design risk policies and thresholds that translate model outputs into operational actions such as deposit requirements, vehicle restrictions, and customer interventions
• You partner with Data Science to define model requirements, validate business impact, and monitor real-world performance
• You collaborate with Pricing, Damage, Security, and Payments teams to implement risk policies across rental operations
• You prepare loss analysis reports and risk steering updates for the CFO, Department Head, and key stakeholders

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience  You have gathered experience in actuarial analysis, risk management, or business analytics, ideally in financial services, insurance, automotive leasing, or the mobility sector
• Education  You hold a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics; actuarial credentials (DAV, FCAS, FIA) are a strong plus
• Analytical Skills  You have a strong foundation in actuarial techniques including frequency-severity modeling, loss reserving, and risk quantification using SQL and Python
• Business Acumen  You are able to build compelling business cases with P&L impact, balancing risk reduction with commercial priorities and operational constraints
• Stakeholder Management  You communicate complex analysis clearly, influence across Finance, Tech, and Operations without direct authority, and navigate competing priorities effectively
• Language  You are fluent in English, proficiency in German is a plus
