OUR PURPOSE AND CULTURE
We are driven to create a future where people and place enrich one another. We are wholly committed to rooting ourselves more deeply in every place we are in while setting new benchmarks for positive impact. As a pioneering collective with a common purpose, we curate extraordinary moments and honor the soul of every place along our journey. At Rosewood Hotel Group, we answer The Calling. Together, we Make the Place.
YOUR ROLE
As a Director of Sales you drive the implementation of the sales strategy and coordinate cross-functional planning with departments like Marketing, Events Sales and Revenue & Reservations. By analyzing market trends, you adapt strategies to stay competitive and build strong relationships with key clients and partners. You manage contracts, monitor team performance, and develop action plans to meet targets. Additionally, you lead and coach the sales team, participate in meetings, and represent Rosewood Munich during sales trips.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
You are the face of our hotel: With charm, professionalism, and a keen sense for client needs, you represent our property with confidence and elegance at all times
Strategic leadership: You report directly to the Director of Commercial and contribute your strategic expertise to sales planning and goal achievement
Team empowerment: You lead, motivate, and develop a passionate sales team — from scheduling to daily operations, you're in full control
Revenue responsibility: You take full ownership of performance metrics including occupancy, average daily rate, total revenue, RevPAR, and market share
Relationship building: You cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with key clients and business partners — both locally and internationally
Active presence: You participate in internal and external meetings, as well as sales trips, representing the hotel with professionalism and purpose
Opportunity hunter: You spot potential before others do — identifying and nurturing key and prospective accounts in line with our growth strategy

Exceptional attention to detail, speed, and precision in execution
Excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance
Willingness to travel as required
A self-driven, structured, and results-oriented working style

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
At Rosewood Hotel Group, your voice is heard – and valued. We’re a community that encourages associates to be themselves, not fit into a fixed culture, and this philosophy shines through in our commitments to reflect and honor the history, culture and geography of our destinations. We’re not only committed to building and nurturing genuine, long-lasting relationships but to transforming them – and our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy helps put these principles into practice.
