You will work on medium-to-large-scale mission-critical projects, covering all stages of design — from concept to construction supervision and handover.As a Senior Electrical Engineer / Project Manager at Arup, you will: a { text-decoration: none; } tr th, tr td { } tr th { } Lead the design of electrical systems for medium to large-scale mission-critical projects, including MV, LV, and ELV systems, from concept design through construction supervision and handoverOwn the preparation and review of design deliverables, ensuring technical quality, coordination, compliance, and alignment with client requirements, project objectives, and industry best practiceWork closely with data centre clients and multidisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, advisors, authorities, utilities, and external partners to deliver integrated, high-quality electrical solutionsPresent technical solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, connecting design decisions to wider project goals, client needs, resilience, efficiency, and long-term performanceMentor and support junior colleagues, sharing knowledge across local, regional, and global teams, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing project environmentDoes this role inspire you?We are looking for someone passionate about sustainable data centre design. We also value: a { text-decoration: none; } tr th, tr td { } tr th { } Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or an equivalent discipline, with strong technical knowledge in building services or industrial electrical systemsExtensive senior experience designing mission-critical electrical systems for industrial or complex technical facilities, ideally including data centre projectsStrong knowledge of electrical design standards and delivery requirements, including relevant German codes, industry standards, and experience with Revit MEP / 3D BIM workflowsProven ability to manage design deliverables, budgets, and priorities, with excellent organisation skills and the ability to coordinate your own work and support the work of othersExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluent English and ideally German, plus a strong commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation in project deliveryWhy Arup?At Arup, we believe in rewarding our members for their contributions to our shared success.
