Senior Solution Consultant (IoT, Cloud & Security) - International (m/f/d)

Purpose of the Role:

You sit at the intersection of technology, business, and customer value.

You understand complex technologies end-to-end and can translate them into meaningful business outcomes for customers. Whether acting as a trusted advisor, technical sales lead, solution consultant, or deal owner, your goal is to help customers accelerate their digital transformation journey.

You are equally comfortable discussing IoT architectures, cloud platforms, cybersecurity concepts, AI-driven use cases, or commercial business cases with C-level decision makers.

Most importantly: you know how to turn complexity into customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the positioning and sales of our complete IoT, Cloud and Security portfolio, with an initial focus on IoT and Managed Connectivity solutions
• Act as trusted advisor for customers throughout the entire sales cycle
• Identify customer business challenges and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Lead customer workshops, discovery sessions and technical consultations
• Design solution architectures and support proposal development
• Build compelling business cases including ROI, TCO and value realization models
• Support and manage RFP/RFQ and tender processes
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Delivery and Marketing
• Trigger and support marketing activities, events, customer showcases and thought leadership initiatives
• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Digital Twins, Cybersecurity, Edge Computing and 5G
• Own opportunities end-to-end and actively support or lead the sales process until deal closure

Required Skills and Experience:

• Several years of experience in Technical Presales, Consulting, Business Development or Solution Sales
• Strong background in IoT/M2M, Managed Connectivity, ICT or Operational Technology (OT)
• Experience within a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) environment is highly desirable
• Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) knowledge is a strong advantage
• Experience in consultative and value-based selling methodologies
• Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and strategic customer engagement
• German and English fluent (written and spoken)
• Additional languages are a plus
• Ability to understand complex ecosystems and simplify them for customers
• Strong commercial mindset combined with technical credibility
• Excellent presentation, moderation and storytelling capabilities
• Strategic account planning and stakeholder management skills
• Solution selling and consultative sales expertise
• Business case creation including ROI and TCO modelling
• Strong customer relationship management skills
• High resilience and ability to operate across multiple domains and stakeholders
• Curiosity and passion for emerging technologie
