Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to drive impactful projects that shape a sustainable future?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Developer to join our dynamic team and spearhead the development of onshore wind energy projects. You will play a key role in advancing renewable energy initiatives and mitigating climate change.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential sites for onshore wind projects, conducting feasibility studies and site assessments.
- Manage the permitting process, ensuring all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental assessments.
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, government agencies, community groups, and other key stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion.
- Stay informed on market trends, policy changes, and technological advancements to inform project development strategies.
Profile:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project development within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on onshore wind.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Strong project management skills, familiarity with permitting processes, and excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- A genuine commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project viability and financial feasibility.
