Project Manager Simulation & Development Excellence (f/m/d) (München, DE)
- As Project Manager Simulation & Development Excellence (f/m/d) you ensure quality and excellence in developing sustainable and cost-efficient energy solutions for industrial customers
- You improve processes and best-practice methods, making sure they're applied consistently across regions within the organisation
- You collaborate in project teams and enable them to deliver tailor-made energy solutions for industrial customers to the highest standards
- You actively contribute to establishing knowledge management in the organisation and develop relevant documentation for project development
- You promote knowledge transfer and exchange across regions within the organisation
- You model generation plants and customer production facilities using optimisation software during the early project development phase
- You interpret, evaluate, and analyse energy optimisation results in close coordination with project management
- You work with and manage collaborations with leading universities and research institutes
- A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in project development of energy solutions for industry and with optimisation models for energy systems
- Interest in digitalisation and decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries
- Good knowledge of thermodynamics and basic financial modelling skills are needed, ideally with experience using optimisation and thermodynamic software (e.g., TOP Energy, Thermoflow)
- Entrepreneurial thinking and strong self-initiative
- An independent, reliable, and careful working style
- Fluency in English and German required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- A good sense of humour, team spirit, engagement, and enjoyment of working in an international, interdisciplinary team
