Medical Science Liaison Oncology/Hematology (all genders) Region Süd
AbbVie seeks a Medical Science Liaison for its oncology and hematology portfolio in southern Germany. The role involves conducting evidence-based scientific exchanges with medical experts, analyzing regional treatment landscapes, managing medical education initiatives, and supporting innovative therapy introductions from a clinical-scientific perspective.
Responsibilities
- Conduct non-promotional scientific dialogue with medical experts and build long-term relationships with clinics and networks
- Analyze regional therapy landscape, identify scientific questions and medical needs, inform territory planning
- Gather medical and field insights, integrate them scientifically into medical strategy
- Support introduction of innovative therapeutic options from medical-scientific perspective
- Plan and execute medical education activities, expert talks, advisory boards, and represent AbbVie at professional conferences
Requirements
- Medical or natural science university degree; PhD preferred
- Pharmaceutical industry experience as Medical Science Liaison
- Scientific knowledge in oncology, hemato-oncology, or solid tumors
- Ability to critically appraise and communicate complex clinical data
- Independent, structured, and strategic work approach with project management experience
- Fluent German and English; willingness to travel
- Strong communication skills in clinical, scientific, and cross-functional settings
