As a Software Engineer at Temedica, you will be a key player in a dynamic and agile environment, taking charge of developing our data platform, Permea, with the aim to improve patient outcomes by enabling key players in the Life Sciences industry to leverage the power of data and de-silo anonymised health data to provide a 360° patient understanding to all stakeholders of the healthcare system.

Your Role with us

• You drive the end-to-end development of features, with a focus on both backend (efficient data handling, robust API responses through tRPC endpoints) and frontend (building intuitive interfaces with Next.js and React) to deliver seamless client-server interactions.
• You play a pivotal role in technical refinements and reviews , contributing expertise across the stack. You guide technical decisions not only around server-side logic, database management, and API design, but also on frontend architecture and integration.
• You ensure the testing , reliability, and maintainability of our entire codebase, from backend services to frontend components, actively contributing to the security, performance, and scalability of Permea.
• You collaborate closely with both frontend and design teams , architecting fullstack solutions that ensure seamless integration and exceptional user experiences, leveraging modern technologies and best practices on both client and server sides.

What you bring to the table

• You have 4+ years of experience as a Full stack Engineer , with significant proficiency in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript ; and exposure to frontend technologies like Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS .
• You are experienced with database management and have an understanding of SQL databases.
• You are skilled in implementing robust security measures, authentication, and authorization to safeguard user data and access controls, securing API endpoints.
• You are proficient with automated- and unit testing specific to backend development with testing libraries and frameworks.
• You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions for workflow automation, and have an understanding of containerization principles.
