Data Scientist (f/m/d)

Your TasksDesign and build data science solutions, across TÜV SÜD domains (e.g., medical technology, elevators, automotive, product testing, …).Engineer LLM solutions, in particular in the area of conversational AI, end to end: prompt design / refinement, retrieval pipelines, safety / guardrails, and systematic evaluation.Support in monitoring and improving deployed solutions by screening quality, latency, and cost; triaging user feedback; and resolving incidents.Collaborate in cross‑functional, agile teams with data scientists, software engineers, and subject‑matter experts.Prototype, experiment, and benchmark new approaches.Identify trends in unstructured data processing and sourcing (OCR / document parsing, embeddings, etc.)Contribute to internal tooling, documentation, and enablement for LLM development and evaluation.Your QualificationSuccessfully completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related fieldAt least 4 years of practical experience applying data science methods in a corporate or consulting environmentIn-depth expertise in modern AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and AI-powered business solutionsStrong proficiency in Python for data science, combined with solid software engineering fundamentalsExcellent communication skills and the ability to independently lead projects end-to-end, including effective collaboration with non-technical business stakeholdersExperience with information retrieval techniques, especially retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), is a plus.Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps is advantageous.Proficiency in German is highly desirableAdditional InformationJoin our team!
