Full Stack Engineering Intern (m/f/x) @ E-Mobility Startup

YOUR MISSION

Become part of Aampere , a seed-stage VC-backed startup redefining the European market for used electric vehicles . Since our launch, we have enabled EV owners to sell their cars quickly and smoothly within 48 hours. Purchasing dealers from across Europe gain access to previously untapped customer segments.

Our team comes from the German startup ecosystem, with experience at Autarc, Greenforce, Cardino, Wemolo, Remberg, Alasco, Porsche, Mercedes, and KPMG .

TL;DR

As a Full Stack Engineering Intern at Aampere, you support our product and engineering teams in building and improving features across our platform. You’ll work on both frontend and backend tasks, contribute to internal tools, and learn how to ship real product in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Build user-facing features: Contribute to developing frontend components with React, Next.js, and TypeScript to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Support backend development: Work with Node.js and Nest.js on APIs, integrations, and data handling to extend platform functionality.
• Design & refine interfaces: Help shape responsive, accessible, and user-friendly UI elements across the product.
• Own small end-to-end projects: Take responsibility for scoped features from implementation to testing, deployment, and iteration.
• Improve platform quality: Collaborate across teams, integrate new functionalities, identify bugs, optimize flows, and contribute to documentation and best practices.

INSPIRE US BY

• Builder mindset: Curiosity and a hands-on attitude. You enjoy learning, experimenting, and solving problems with code.
• Technical foundations: First experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Next.js, plus basic understanding of backend development, APIs, and databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• AI-enhanced workflows: You enjoy working with the newest AI tools like Cursor or Lovable to code, debug, and ship faster.
• Startup readiness: Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment, join coding evenings or hackathons, and contribute directly to real product challenges.
• Bonus skills: Familiarity with Git, Docker, AWS, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus but not required.
• Language skills: Fluent in English is a must, German skills are a plus.
