Regional Sales Manager Defense, Security and Critical Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Introduction

You will expand our business across Latin America and the Caribbean while strengthening our market position in the Defense, Security, and Critical Infrastructure sectors. As an experienced sales professional, you will provide functional leadership to your team and drive sustainable growth across complex, cross-country markets.

Tasks

• You will define the local sales setup together with the Sales, Service & Marketing and Technology Systems divisions, thereby strengthening the independence of local entities
• You will identify opportunities for Rohde & Schwarz to expand its presence in the Defense, Security, and Critical Infrastructure markets through growth strategies and the development of new verticals
• You will guide and support local Account Managers in building a robust and sustainable sales pipeline
• You will proactively drive the further development and strengthening of the focus markets
• You will analyze market developments, use cases, and trends and derive local sales strategies from these insights
• You will implement relevant initiatives within your region in close alignment with the respective business units

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Communications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• You bring several years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development within the Defense, Security, or Critical Infrastructure sectors, as well as a proven track record of leadership in matrix organizations and multinational environments
• You possess an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong passion for driving business success, and the ability to quickly understand complex solutions as well as the operational requirements of our governmental and public-sector customers
• You stand out through excellent communication skills and strong intercultural and interdisciplinary competence, particularly with regard to Latin American and Caribbean countries
• A willingness to travel internationally (30-50%) combined with business-fluent English and Spanish skills, both written and spoken, completes your profile
