AI Expert - Autonomous Driving Safety (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Have an innovation driven mindset to explore AI solutions leading to safer autonomous driving systems, challenging and trailblazing the state-of-the-art.

• Investigate and develop risk assessment algorithms using AI.

• Extend and modify state-of-the-art neural networks architectures to handle safety related challenges in autonomous driving systems.

• Stay up-to-date with newest AI technologies, industry standards, regulations, trends and new best practices.
  

Your areas of expertise

• MSc. or PhD. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning or equivalent field.

• Excellent understanding of AI-based systems, neural network architectures, hardware and software platforms for AI, nominal performance evaluation and improvement.

• Practical experience in applying AI-based systems to safety relevant functions.

• Hands-on attitude and positive engagement to inspire and motivate teammates.

• Knowledge in autonomous driving algorithms for driving policies, end-to-end networks, foundational models is an advantage.

• Professional proficiency in English. German and/or Chinese knowledge are an advantage

• Willing to travel abroad (up to 25% of the time)
