Global Specialist Employee and Travel Security (m/f/d)*
The Munich Re Global Real Estate and Services division sets the direction for the management of all aspects of corporate real estate and employee services across the regions for Munich Re offices.
Global Corporate Security is responsible for the protection of employees, sites and assets worldwide. The department works closely with integrated risk management, the business units and the regional organizations of Real Estate and Services to develop and implement risk-based measures and procedures and monitor their effectiveness.
Within the newly established department we are looking for a Global Specialist Employee and Travel Security.
Your Job
- Develop and implement global frameworks, protection concepts and standards for employee and travel security
- Define risk-based approval processes, escalation criteria and travel security guidelines
- Provide strategic guidance during major incidents and crises affecting personnel globally
- Operate and further develop the corporate traveler tracking and advisory processes
- Manage and oversee external security providers and outsourcing strategies
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across HR, Compliance, IRM and Corporate Security to ensure consistent standards
- Plan, coordinate and execute executive protection, secure transportation and high-level travel support for senior leadership
- Conduct protective intelligence, advance planning and real-time threat monitoring for travel and events
- Monitor global risk developments and provide timely security assessments and recommendations
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimization and the global alignment of security measures
Your Profile
- University degree in security management, crisis management, risk management, business administration or a related field
- Relevant professional experience in executive protection, travel security or international security operations
- Strong analytical skills and experience in risk assessment and protective intelligence
- Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a global, fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a structured and confident approach under pressure
- High level of discretion and professionalism when working with senior leadership
- Experience in planning and executing complex travel and/or event security concepts
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
