Salary Job description

As Principal Solution Architect – DACH, you will be the senior technical voice in client engagements, working closely with the Country Manager – DACH to translate our clients’ business needs into scalable, high-impact technical strategies. You will guide them through their AI, data, and cloud transformation journeys -shaping solutions that win trust, drive adoption, and deliver measurable value.
While the role begins as an individual-contributor position, it offers a clear opportunity to build and lead a local team of technical experts as our presence in the region grows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and design innovative solutions across AI, data, and cloud domains.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client executives, connecting technology strategy to business value.
• Shape and present proposals, architectures, and proofs of concept that differentiate STX Next in competitive pursuits.
• Collaborate with our delivery teams to scope, price, and mobilize projects aligned with client needs.
• Provide technical validation and solution assurance during all stages of client engagement
• Build relationships with key technology partners (AWS, Azure, GCP, and EU-sovereign cloud providers like STACKIT and Cloudferro).
• Contribute to thought leadership in the region—through client workshops, public speaking, and published insights.
• Champion a consultative, outcome-driven approach that aligns with STX Next’s AI and data strategy.

 

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering, solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technology consulting.
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data engineering pipelines, and AI/ML applications.
• Ability to translate complex technology into clear business impact and context
• Proven experience designing multi-cloud or hybrid architectures in enterprise environments.
• Strong familiarity with security, compliance, and data-governance requirements—especially in regulated industries (banking, insurance,, healthcare, energy).
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in German and English (C1 or higher).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to building a growth business. .
• Willingness to travel across Germany and Switzerland to meet clients and partners.
