Job Description

As a (Senior) Project Manager Insurance (m/f/d) at SIXT you take full end-to-end ownership of international insurance projects with measurable impact. You drive strategic initiatives to optimize our claims costs, lead cross-country projects to success, and ensure decisions are implemented quickly. In a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, you set clear priorities, take ownership, and turn complex insurance topics into real business wins for SIXT.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You implement cross-country projects to reduce claims costs operationally, from planning to success tracking
• You analyze data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support business cases and ROI analyses
• You drive strategic insurance initiatives, RfP processes, and digital transformation projects proactively
• You prepare project documentation, status reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• You coordinate international, cross-functional teams and align closely with Country Teams, Insurance, IT, Fleet Management, and Finance
• You organize workshops, meetings, and trainings, ensuring smooth communication across all project participants

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Qualification  You hold a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Insurance, or a comparable field
• Experience  You bring professional experience in project management, ideally with a focus on Insurance or Risk Management
• Achievements  You have proven success in executing complex, international projects
• Industry Knowledge  You possess strong knowledge of the insurance sector, ideally in fleet insurance
• Methodology  You have solid project management skills, both agile and traditional
• Skills  You work analytically, structured, and communicate confidently in English; German skills are a nice-to-have
