Business Developer - Energy & Logistics (Senior)

FRYTE is a Munich-based LogTech and EnergyTech startup, bridging the gap between logistics and energy markets. Our SaaS marketplace reduces charging costs for logistic companies and increases utilization for charge point operators. Our vision is to replace big oil with sustainable transportation. Tasks

As a Senior Business Developer, you’ll be responsible for validating our Product-Market Fit and scaling real-world Proof-of-Concept rollouts. You will work directly with logistics partners and energy providers to build bridges between what we offer and what the market needs. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives on execution, negotiation, and partnership building in complex B2B environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the implementation of our products at customers
• Validate Product Market Fit through pro active customer approach
• Develop pricing strategies for our features and products
• Managing different stakeholder groups like logistic operators and energy providers
• Working close to the tech team from product management towards sales/operations
• Taking on entrepreneurial responsibility as part of the founding “Starting Five” core team and helping to build the company from the ground up

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Graduate from a top tier university with 4+ years experience in business development, consulting, or partner management
• Deep understanding of B2B or SaaS markets (ideally in logistics, energy, EV charging, or mobility)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Track record of managing complex partnerships or pilot projects
• Entrepreneurial mindset and drive to get things done
• 100% Commitment to the mission of FRYTE building the fastest company in logistics and energy

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in early-stage or venture-backed startups
• Familiarity with fleet operations, charging infrastructure, or energy markets
• Technical affinity for SaaS, APIs, or mobility platforms

Our stack

We use Hubspot (planned), Notion, and a custom-built SaaS platform. Your ability to collaborate across technical and commercial functions is more important than the tools themselves.

Job Requirements

• Availability: Full-Time
• Valid working permit in Germany
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to regularly work in our office in Munich , Germany.
