Software Engineer III, Open Cloud Networking

Be an advocate to our internal users.Deliver working software.Create, contribute to and review designs.Be curious, happy to experiment.Participate in technical discussions.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.Preferred qualifications:Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, TypeScript).Experience with open-source software, package managers (e.g., Maven, PyPI, npm, Docker, Apt), and dependency management.Experience with cloud technologies, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts.Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
