As a Senior Director International Tax (f/m/div) on our Corporate Functions team become the heart of our organization by developing strategies, refining processes, and implementing initiatives that empower our business to thrive.Are you in?Your roleKey responsibilities in your new roleIn this role, you will lead the International Tax Team and hold global responsibility for the Group's international tax strategy, the tax planning and optimization of the legal Group and financing structure (particularly with cross-border implications), as well as tax efficiency and tax risk management for M&A activities and intra-group restructurings.Provide professional and line leadership for the International Tax Team within Infineon's Group Tax DepartmentAdvise central functions and business units worldwide on international tax matters and developments, and manage all internal and external stakeholders during the implementation of measuresHold global responsibility for financing and dividend strategiesEnsure tax efficiency and tax risk management for the entire Infineon Group, particularly for M&A projects and corporate restructuringsLead interdisciplinary and multi-functional projectsDrive the automation and digitalization of processes within the departmentYour profileQualifications and skills to help you succeed You demonstrate strong judgment and assertiveness, enabling you to make and defend strategic decisions. Your excellent communication skills and confident, persuasive demeanor allow you to build a stable network at all levels. You understand the strengths of your team members, deploy them accordingly, and support their development potential, with a keen sensitivity for cultural differences and working styles.A degree in business administration or law (or equivalent), and a passed qualification as a Tax Advisor (Steuerberaterexamen), Specialist Lawyer in International Tax Law (Examen als Fachanwalt für internationales Steuerrecht), or comparable qualification in Germany or abroadPossess at least 10 years of professional experience in consulting (ideally Big Four), in a comparable role in corporate finance, or in the tax department of a multinational corporationHave extensive experience advising other multinational corporations on national and international tax planningDemonstrate long-standing experience in international M&A transactions (including Tax Due Diligence, SPA Tax Advice, structuring, and integration)Possess profound knowledge of transformation law and transformation tax law (Umwandlungs- und Umwandlungssteuerrecht), as well as international tax law (Außensteuerrecht), corporate income tax law (Körperschaftsteuerrecht), and trade tax law (Gewerbesteuerrecht)Be able to accurately assess the impact of tax planning measures on other functions (e.g., Supply Chain, Value Flow, Accounting, Legal, etc.)Preferably possess basic industry knowledge and fundamental knowledge of corporate law (Gesellschaftsrecht), and enjoy working in multinational teamsHave excellent communication skills in German and English, both spoken and written #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
