Job purpose / role

The goal of IT Service Continuity Management is to support the overall Business Continuity Management (BCM) by ensuring that the required IT technical and service facilities can be resumed within required and agreed business timescales.

Key responsibilities / tasks

• Responsible for IT Service Continuity Management Lifecycle Management, including IT DR, IT backup and IT resilience processes, driving maturity and adoption across the organization.
• Continuously improve IT services resilience, architecture, processes, and operating models.
• Develop, review, and maintain IT disaster recovery plans (DRP/TRP) to ensure service availability and swift recovery.
• Coordinate and execute IT DR tests, drills, and compliance activities with service providers and Business Resilience teams.
• Maintain clear communication between service providers and application teams to minimize confusion and ensure timely updates.
• Develop IT services DR dashboards, KPIs, reports, and decision papers for transparency and management oversight.
• Act as project manager for DR-related initiatives and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Serve as a key contact for third parties, service providers, and internal cross-functional teams.

Key requirements

Required:

• Degree in IT, IT Security, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 5+ years in IT infrastructure operations, ITSM, IT risk, BCM/resilience, disaster recovery, or related areas.
• Proven experience in IT resilience strategies, crisis management, and major incident handling.
• Strong understanding of RTO, RPO, SLA/OLA mechanisms in global operations.
• Skilled in translating complex technical processes into business language and decision-making documents.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow ITSM platform and its integrations.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of multitasking under pressure.
• Excellent English communication skills: German is a plus.

Preferred:

• Experience in finance, banking, or asset management sectors.
• Multicultural, international team experience and collaboration with external providers.
• Certifications: ITIL, CISSP, CBCP, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ITSCM standards (ISO 22301, 27031, etc.) and regulatory frameworks (DORA, VAIT, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills, motivated, target-oriented, and adaptable to global priorities.
