Senior Frontend Engineer (f/m/x)

Pactos is building the B2B SaaS platform for the contingent workforce management. We help companies streamline the entire source-to-pay process in one single source of truth. Tasks

• Architect our Frontend Infrastructure: Design and implement the entire frontend architecture, selecting the optimal frameworks and tools to build a scalable, high-performance platform from scratch.
• Develop an Exceptional User Interface: Create intuitive, responsive, and engaging user interfaces that deliver outstanding user experiences across all devices.
• Establish Frontend Best Practices: Implement coding standards, testing protocols, and development workflows to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, product, and other engineering teams to continually refine the system architecture.
• Technical Leadership: Contribute to technical decisions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing and excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex, high-performance web applications
• Demonstrated ability to design and build frontend architectures from the ground up, selecting appropriate frameworks and tools (e.g., React or Vue.js, Tailwind CSS) for scalable solutions
• Proficiency in backend frameworks and the integration of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and caching techniques
• Strong sense of UI/UX principles, with the ability to collaborate closely with designers to create intuitive and engaging interfaces
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and glue work
• Highly motivated and proactive, eager to take ownership of the full domain and follow through in a fast-paced, aspiring startup environment
• Fluency in English and good command of German
