Founding Operations & Customer Growth Manager

About the Role

This is the first dedicated Customer Growth and Operations hire at an early-stage B2B AI SaaS company, working directly with the founding team. You'll own the full customer lifecycle for a growing portfolio of enterprise clients and build the operational foundation that will scale the business from dozens to thousands of accounts.

What You'll Do

• Onboard and manage relationships across a portfolio of 40+ B2B clients, serving as their primary point of contact.

• Design and implement scalable customer success playbooks, health frameworks, and onboarding processes from scratch.

• Build an AI-native operating system to manage and scale client operations as the customer base grows.

• Translate complex AI workflows into clear, credible narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Define and track ROI metrics and customer health indicators to drive retention and expansion.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering, including writing structured bug reports and feature requests grounded in customer feedback.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience owning customer relationships in a B2B context — Customer Success, Account Management, Consulting, or a high-ownership GTM role at a startup.

• Demonstrated ability to build structure from scratch: a playbook, a process, or a team.

• Structured, analytical mindset with a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

• Comfortable explaining AI-powered workflows simply and credibly to varied audiences.

• Experience defining ROI metrics or customer health frameworks, or strong enough product sense to scope and communicate technical issues clearly.

• Fluency in both German and English is required.

• Background from a management consultancy, professional services firm, or a growth-stage B2B software company is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary of €70,000 – €110,000 annually, depending on experience. Equity participation via VSOP (0.25–0.75%) based on profile strength. Visa sponsorship is not available.
